Sure, you can probably knock out some respectable lap times in Forza or Gran Turismo, but do you think you can drive a racecar? After watching this video, we’ll admit that it’s a bit above our caliber.
The terrifying video comes from IndyCar racer Simon Pagenaud, during practice for the season opening Firestone Grand Prix. Despite a lap like that, he didn’t come away with a win at the end of the weekend. Driver Will Power took the checkered flag for Team Penske, but you can’t fault Pagenaud for not trying. Check out the clip to see him dive into blind corners and throw in some opposite lock just inches from a concrete barrier. It’s pretty remarkable.
