The Knicks are looking to make some personnel moves before the season is over—which is sooner than they'd like. Former Laker and disgraced star Lamar Odommay be signing with New York before the regular season ends on Wednesday.
The Knicks will then see if Odom is ready to get back into the game by next season. Physically is a maybe since he did play over in Spain for a short time. Mentally is a question mark as well. Phil Jackson, who coached Odom over in Los Angeles, did have a personal meeting with Odom during the last Knicks-Nets meeting. It's possible he still sees greatness in him.
