By the end of the decade Bentley plans on offering 90 percent of its cars as hybrids. The first step towards making that happen is the Bentley Hybrid Concept, which will debut at the Beijing Motor Show later this month. The concept is supposed to be a preview of a hybrid SUV that will go on sale in 2017

Bentley promises to reduce 70 percent of CO2 emissions without compromising the luxury it's known for. That should be easy considering we think more about appearances and comfort than we do performance when it comes to Bentleys. To emphasize the electric power the concept has been accented with copper on the exterior and interior. It's still too early for pricing, but expect it to be a bit higher than a Prius.
