Michael Carter-Williams messed up his chance to make history during his rookie season. It's all because he wanted to do "good" and score 21 points to help the Sixers win.

That's right Philadelphia screwed it up for themselves by beating—destroying, actually—the Pistons, 123-98. The Sixers are not going to solely hold the record for longest losing streak as they're tied with the 2010-11 Cavaliers at 26.

So now, Philadelphia isn't the worst team in the league, but merely one of the worst. The Bucks are the worst, and as the Heat mercilessly beat them down, they're smirking because of how the Sixers are screwing up their lottery pick chances. Or maybe the Bucks drew up some kind of deal with the Pistons for them to blow the game. There was a surreal sense to how terrible they played.

The Sixers are now 16-57 after going 12-for-21 from beyond-the-arc and 52.2 percent from the field. Don't celebrate. Tank harder.
