"I need to focus on my football career right now." This is what Russell Wilson said when Dancing With the Stars came calling, looking for participants for their 18th season. Sidebar: DAMN! Even with two full NFL seasons and a Lombardi Trophy under his belt, Wilson is still focused on "winning football games for the Seattle Seahawks" first and foremost. But don't get it twisted. Russell definitely wants to be on the show later on.

"I'm going to do it," Wilson said. "At some point, I'm going to definitely do it. I love 'Dancing with the Stars.' I love watching, and I love dancing myself, so hopefully, I could win it.” Well, you can't help but wonder how many times the people over at Dancing With the Stars will check in to see if Wilson is ready to put on his dancing shoes, as this is the second time that the show has asked him about joining the cast.

When he does decide to get on the show, Wilson will join an eclectic group of NFL players, past and present, which include Donald Driver, Michael Irvin, Jacoby JonesChad Johnson, Keyshawn Johnson, Jerry Rice, Emmitt SmithJason Taylor, Lawrence TaylorHines Ward and Kurt Warner.
