Hey, Adrien Broner, do you want to be the best boxer in the world one day? Then Floyd Mayweather has two pieces of advice for you: One, stop trying to be a rapper. And two, start taking your craft more seriously.

Mayweather is a guy who has been sitting in Broner's corner for a couple of years now. But during a recent interview with Fight Hype, he admitted that he thinks Broner needs to change his approach to boxing if he wants to be great. And he delivered a much-needed dose of tough love to the guy who got destroyed by Marcos Maidana back in December.

"I love Adrien Broner," Mayweather said. "I think he has a lot to learn…I think he should spend less time on social media, less time trying to be a hip hop artist and focus more on his craft."

Will Broner listen? Ehhh…

Guess we'll see if Broner ends up fighting Amir Khan this spring.
