Last night, LeBron James scored a career-high 61 points against the Bobcats. It was impressive. But as we told you earlier this afternoon, there were some LeBron haters out there who were not impressed by it. Reason being, the game was against the Bobcats. So people feel like LeBron should have scored 61 because, well, BOBCATS.

Dominique Wilkins tends to agree with those people. Earlier today, he took to Twitter and wrote this:

No denying he put on a shooting display. He was hot. Let's not forget, he was playing the Bobcats. A sub 500 team w a match up nightmare.

And this:

Where is the Defense? The Bobcats put up 107 points in a defenseless display of basketball. Offensively who was there to make Bron work on D

And this:

Why are we not talking about Al Jefferson and the MONSTER night he had 38 and 19! Yes, like I said, Bron got hot & put on a shooting clinic.

But the most interesting tweet that he sent out came when he claimed that he could have scored 40 points against the Bobcats last night. Even though he's 54 now, he thinks he could have had a big night:

Watch the film. No close outs on D, doubles were late, rotations were slow. It was too easy to score. At 54 y/o I could drop 40 on that D

He went on to criticize the defense in the NBA today and to point out that LeBron didn't have to play much D, which in turn led to his incredible offensive efficiency:

Let me be clear again, amazing shooting display, he was on fire and VERY efficient. My point is the Cats didn't work him on the other end.

But we have to go back to that last tweet. 40 points in 2014, 'Nique?! All due respect but…nah. The Bobcats aren't that bad, man.
