We're really excited about the BMW i8. It looks like the future, it's fast like today (4.4 seconds to 60 mph, 155 mph top speed) on account of a hybridized three cylinder engine, it gets fuel economy like the future (78 mpg), it looks fairly practical, and, it's luckily, not that far off in the future.
Production of the i8 is slated to begin in April, and deliveries will start in June. Unfortunately, deliveries for European customers come first. Hopefully, Americans won't have to wait too long.
