UPDATE: To read the latest news on Ray Rice and the police summons that was issued to him after he allegedly got into an altercation with his fiancée, see here.

Very early Saturday morning, Ravens running back Ray Ricewas arrested at the Revel Atlantic City hotel and casino in Atlantic City, N.J. for allegedly assaulting his fiancée Janay Palmer. Palmer was also arrested for assaulting Rice during the incident, and police have revealed that they have a video that proves that both Rice and Palmer put their hands on one another.

That video hasn't leaked out yet. But thanks to TMZ Sports, we do have the video that you see above, which features Rice dragging Palmer off an elevator inside of Revel sometime after their alleged mutual attack took place. In the video, Palmer appears to be unconscious and Rice appears to be trying to help her get off of the elevator. But when a man who looks like a security guard approaches him, Rice doesn't appear to know what to do next. So he hovers over Palmer, who is laid out on the ground and seems stumped. It doesn't look good for either of them.

For what it's worth, an attorney speaking on behalf of Rice spoke to TMZ Sports this morning and said that people shouldn't look too far into the brief clip.

"The video that's being posted by TMZ Sports is not the complete event but is merely the end result of what transpired," he said. "We'll assure the public that when this matter is fully tried and completed, you'll have a better understanding of what happened."

Maybe so. But at the present moment, this video doesn't help Rice or Palmer's case or shed any light on what actually happened between the two. So stay tuned for more info.
