To be fair, the Nets would've needed a lot of luck at this point in their game against the Pacers. This is still a very unfortunate way to lose though. The rule is the clock starts running as soon as someone touches the ball on an inbounds pass. That's not restricted to your hands though. The ball bounced off Paul Pierce's ass and that was game: Pacers 97, Nets 96. Slick move, Luis Scola.
