This Pastor Is Making a 1,500-Mile Trip to Canada on a Snowmobile (Video)

That sounds...cold.

Brad Shannon, the pastor at the New Life Covenant Church in Duluth, Minn., is trying to help his church build a new place of worship. But he's not doing it by begging for donations. He's also not doing it by sitting around and praying that he comes into a large sum of money. Rather, he's holding a fundraiser—a very unique fundraiser.

It seems Shannon is a bit of a snowmobile enthusiast. So later today, he's going to deliver a sermon to the people who attend his church. And then, he's going to hop onto a snowmobile and start driving to Churchill, Canada (Churchill? We see what you did there, Pastor!). He'll log about 1,500 miles during the trip and (hopefully!) raise a lot of money for his church in the process.

Check out the video above to see why he decided to snowmobile to raise money for his church. This guy has a long, cold trip ahead of him, and we wish him nothing but the best.
