Rondo wasn't feeling it, though.

To deal Rajon Rondo or not to deal Rajon Rondo? That will be the question the Boston Celtics will need to ask themselves as the trade deadline looms near. Recently, the Celtics were reportedly faced with a difficult decision when the Sacramento Kings offered a nice package deal involving Isaiah Thomas, Ben McLemore and two picks for Rondo.

While there is no word on whether the C's would've executed the trade since talks broke down when Rondo rejected the notion of re-signing with the Kings, which forced the team to pull out of any negotiations. Earlier today, reports surfaced that the Celtics were looking for two first-rounders and young talent in exchange for Rondo. Considering the potential deal with Sac-Town had that young talent in McLemore and Thomas, maybe Boston is sticking to their guns on that two first-rounders part. Maybe somebody will bite. We'll find out soon enough with the trade deadline only a few days away.
