The Ferrari 458 Speciale is a 605hp absolute terror of a sports car. It has received rave reviews since its release, and other car companies are now starting to make their versions to compete. It's well-documented by now that its performance on the track is incredible. But how does it do in a real-life situation, like in a car crash? Jump to Berlin, Germany, where these images speak for themselves.

Reports on other sites speculate that the smart fortwo ran a red light (which would make sense, judging by the T-Bone-looking damage), and the Ferrari ran into it straight away. Two witnesses said the smart car flipped and ended up in a grassy area off the road. Although two people were reportedly admitted to the hospital (unknown which cars they were), the smart car actually looks like it handled the crash much better than the Ferrari. Maybe this will shut up some of the people who judge the car's safety based on its small size.
