Audi Totally Should Have Used This as a Sochi Winter Olympics Ad

The Internet beat the company to it.

The self-inflicted asterisk meme is the perfect representation of how the 2014 Sochi Olympics have gone so far, and some have already turned it around for their own personal profit. After seeing the above awesome photoshopped image, it looks Audi should have been doing the same thing.

Popping up on Reddit (where else?), the fake ad reads "*When four rings is all you need," referring obviously to Audi's four-ringed logo. Now, in addition to the cunning catch-phrase, an extra layer of sonning is added, because BMW is the official vehicle sponsor of the Olympics. Funny enough, these two brands had previously been in a little battle over some billboard space back in 2012. Auto rivalry is the best!
