We've seen basketball games at all levels end in all kinds of crazy ways in the past. From wild half-court shots to ridiculously lucky full-court buzzer beaters, we thought we had seen it all. But apparently, we thought wrong.
Just check out the video above that features two high school teams from Washington state playing a game recently. At the end of the contest, with the score tied, a player from one of the teams managed to get a wide-open layup for the win. And he missed it! Er, sort of.
Seriously, you need to see this to believe it. Now we've seen it all.
Oh, and in case you're wondering, the team that "missed" the layup at the end of regulation ended up winning the game in OT. They won thanks to—what else?—a buzzer-beating layup.
