Superformance is a company we're rather fond of. It makes replicas of the Ford GT40 to exacting that Ford is willing to give them a legit GT40 Serial number, assorted Shelby Cobras, and old school Grand Sport Corvettes. It's about as sexy as a resume can be.
Now Superformance is now helping Americans get their hands on Caterham's classic super light track car, the Seven. To start, only the powerful Seven 480 and Seven 620R will be offered, but we wouldn't be surprised to see more of the line up on sale in the future.
To avoid some of our more stringent laws, the cars will be shipped as rolling chassis and consumers will then have to install the engine themselves and register the car as a kit car.
