The first few minutes of indy skate filmmaker Colin Read's new video "Tengu, Gods of Mischief" is a startling, beautiful, hold-your-breath scary montage of tricks done on rooftops in NYC. Skateboarders are known for having a unique perspective on the urban environment—every aspect of architecture and infrastructure are subject to their imagination—and this two-and-a-half-minute clip takes their approach to new heights.

Then again, this footage comes from the same video that features the legendary subway ollie, so it isn't totally unprecedented in terms of craziness. Watch the clip now, and buy the video here to support independent skateboarding.
