The fact that the Crown Vic is being replaced by the Nissan NV200 is kinda sad, but not terribly surprising and we can deal with it. The fact that the London black cabs are being replaced by Nissan NV200s that have been dressed up to look like a mockery of their beloved predecessors, on the other hand, is very sad.
That's right, Nissan has unveiled the new London taxi and it looks exceedingly derpy. It has a face that seems to betray limited intelligence, and blissful ignorance of it's own ugliness. There have been some mechanical changes to the car when compared to the New York-spec NV200 in order to meet London-specific requirements, like a 25 foot turning circle, but for the most part it's just the styling.
