A man in Texas wasn't satisfied with getting back at the dealership that fired him. He took it out on the customers, too. Omar Ramos-Lopez was arrested for using the Internet to disable ignitions and set off the horns of more than 100 cars sold at his former workplace. The dealership has a system in place that allows it to disable the ignitions and set off horns in cases of repossession. Ramos-Lopez got into the system by stealing a former coworker's password.
This isn't the only time Ramos-Lopez has used the Internet to mess with his former workplace. He also used his computer to sabotage business records and order $130,000 in parts and equipment. In one case, Ramos-Lopez changed the name of a car buyer in 2009 to Tupac Shakur. Thug life?
