The United States is one of Lexus' largest markets, yet there are currently no production centers anywhere in this country. It makes sense that the company would make moves to change that, as construction began this week on an assembly line in Kentucky. The project is a part of the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky plant's expansion and is scheduled to be cranking out up to 50,000 Lexus ES models a year by the fall of 2015. Some Lexus fans will definitely be happy that the company is creating jobs here and that their cars will soon be "Made in America."
