Kevin Love Called Out Two of His Teammates After a Loss Last Night

He's ticked off at them.

Kevin Love is not very happy with a couple of his teammates right now. Specifically, he's angry at J.J. Barea and Dante Cunningham, who were both spotted sitting at the end of the bench during a timeout in the fourth quarter of the Timberwolves' loss to the Suns last night. So Love is calling those guys out right now and asking for them to invest more of themselves into their team.

"We can't have two guys sitting at the end of the bench that play good minutes just sitting there and not getting up during timeouts," Love said after the loss. "We all need to be in this together. That kind of [ticks] me off. We're supposed to be a team."

Love didn't stop there, either. He refused to call out Barea and Cunningham by name, but he continued to call them out while speaking with reporters.

"It's two guys that we expect more from them," he said. "I think they expect more from themselves. I'm not trying to single anybody out and I don't want to make it bigger than it is, but it's just a team that we needed to beat tonight and we needed everybody in there, even guys that didn't play any minutes. We need to have a team and a bench that's really in it together."

Love's teammates are yet to respond. But we would expect a response from them any minute now. In the meantime, how long until Love starts asking out of Minnesota? We would love to see him stay and continue to give that market a boost. But his talents are being wasted up there. And if the T'Wolves don't start improving soon—they're currently 17-18 on the season—he could be on his way out sooner than later.
