In the NFL—or, hell, at any level of football—kickers don't get a whole lot of respect. But earlier today, Panthers kicker Graham Gano earned a little bit of respect from us when he punked Cam Newton.
So how did he do it? Well, Gano used to kicked extra points and field goals for the Florida State Seminoles. And Newton used to run and throw touchdown passes for the Auburn Tigers. So with the two teams set to square off in the BCS National Championship tonight, Gano did this:
Yup, he hung a Florida State hoodie up in Newton's locker. And because Newton has the least active Twitter page in the history of athlete Twitter pages, he hasn't been able to respond. So score one for the kicker!
