Tesla "Model E" to Debut at 2015 Detroit Auto Show

A tiny bit of info comes out about Tesla's first car for the masses.

Tesla's Model X still hasn't released, but that hasn't stopped people from talking about what the electric car manufacturer has in store next. Speculation has been rampant for Tesla's first car for the masses—known unofficially as the Model E. Now, fortunately, we have some official comments on the car. 

In an interview with a German car magazine, Auto Bild, Tesla chief designer Franz von Holzhauzen said the Model E should be unveiled at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Don't be surprised if you don't hear much about the Model E until then. Elon Musk has been surprisingly uptight about the car that could put Tesla in business with the masses.
