The people who write long, elaborate Craigslist ads are the best. We don't know what compels someone to write more than what they're selling, how much it costs, where it is, and a phone number. And we definitely don't know how Craigslist brings out the prose in people—I'm a writer and my Craigslist ads are dryer than a peanut butter sandwich—but we're sure glad it does.

A user in East Hampton is selling a 1977 Mercedes-Benz 450SEL 6.9 and has dubbed his post the "most important one you'll ever read." According to him/her, you owe it to yourself, your country, your god/non-god to read the post in its entirety, buy the Mercedes, and give him/her above market price.

While old, the car "still carries an air of exclusivity and prestige for those in the know." It has a "massive" 5.9 liter V8 engine, air conditioning, and power door locks. We seriously recommend you read the post in its entirety, even if you don't intend on paying to much for it (or anything at all).
