Why just look at vintage cars when you could learn to drive them? The Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Mich.—about halfway between Detroit and Chicago—is offering a Model T driving class. For just $95, you can take a two-and-a-half-hour course that teaches you everything about the Model T from the crank starter to the column-mounted throttle control.
Ten classes are planned for 2014 with two classes each day on May 3, June 22, July 22, Aug. 23, and Sept. 14. There are only 18 spots per class, so if you're interested, you should definitely sign up sooner than later. Don't miss a chance to live (partially) like Americans in the early 1900s. (Bowler hats are not included.)
