Remember the Lexus LF-LC concept? It's certainly one of the coolest and sleekest concept cars in recent memory, and it's the epitome of what Akio Toyoda is trying to do with him company: make it sexier and faster.
Now we're hearing rumor that Lexus might be using the concept as a successor to the $375,000 Lexus LFA supercar. The LFA's chief engineer, Haruhiko Tanahashi, said to Autocar “I have the expectation that car will be launched... I personally hope the LF-LC will be built. I think most of Lexus’s concept cars have been turned into production cars.”
Despite the fact that there's no way in hell we'll ever afford one, we like this news. Lexus needs another sexy supercar as it focuses on launching a full F-Sport line. “We want a whole level of real F products with a car like the LFA being at the top of it.”
