We know that our readers favorite cars are things like the Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari Enzo, Rolls-Royce Phantom, Nissan GT-R, and Lamborghini Aventador, but here's our secret (that's not really a secret at all). We have a gigantic soft spot for crazy art deco cars from the '30s. Figoni et Falaschi are two of our favorite designers, and the word "Delahaye" causes an involuntary quickening of the pulse.
That is why we're giving serious thought to selling a few family members right now. Yup, this stunning 1937 Delahaye 135 Competition Court Roadster is hitting the auction block, and we feel a deep-seated need to gently caress this machine.
The car is hitting the block on account of the death of Malcolm S. Pray Jr., the owner of North America's biggest Audi and Saab dealership and a car collector of obvious importance. We wish the best to his friends and family.
