It's cold out in Brooklyn tonight. Like, under the freezing point cold. So, the last thing that Deron Williams' battered ankles want to do is play a rigorous game of basketball against a pesky ball handler like Chris Paul. That's why, early in the first quarter of today's Nets/Clippers game at the Barclays Center, Deron's ankles let him know that they had enough and gave up on him after Paul's dribble and teammate Brook Lopez's right foot worked together to send D-Will to the floor.

Look, we're not going to say CP3 broke D-Will's ankles, but that sounds a whole lot better than Williams' ankles just breaking all by themselves, right?
