We're sad to see the glorious and gull-winged SLS AMG leave us after only four years, but at least it's leaving us on the high note. First there was the SLS AMG Black Series, which is hands-down the best car I have personally ever driven, and now the Final Edition wraps up the saga. The SLS AMG GT FE (not kidding) takes cues from the Black Series and the superlative GT3 race car to make what will certainly excite the AMG brand's faithful.
The engine, in this iteration, produces 583 hp and 479 lb-ft or torque, which is enough to launch the car to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds. On the outside the exposed carbon fiber hood and fixed rear wing make the alphabet soup look almost like a tuner car. We'd love to see one in black for a more subtle effect.
