For the New York Knicks, it's not too early to start thinking about two years down the road. Especially when the cornerstone of your franchise, Carmelo Anthony, is already saying that he wants "to be a free agent" at the end of this season.

According to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski, the Knicks are already "devising a strategy to lure" Kevin Love to the Big Apple. Love, who is eligible to terminate his contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves as early as 2015, is already on the Knickerbockers' radar because they reportedly believe that building a plan of attack on bringing the 25-year-old center/forward to N.Y. would entice Anthony into signing a long-term deal.

With the team already committed to guys like Amar'e Stoudemire ($23.4 million), Tyson Chandler ($14.3 million) and Andrea Bargnani ($12 million) through 2014, the Knicks will not have much available cap space after resigning Melo next summer, but the following year is a different story considering those aforementioned players are coming off the books.

So, who's got money on the Knicks putting a spin on this to try and appeal to Love?
