It's no secret that LeBron James holds Allen Iverson in high regard. After all, in a recent interview with ESPN The Mag, LeBron admits "AI was like my second favorite player growing up," he says, "after MJ." So, it should come as no surprise that King James would say something like this:

RT @HarveyAraton: Here in Miami, LeBron just called Allen Iverson "pound for pound the greatest player ever"

Now, before you get all bent out of shape by that statement, let us just say we're thinking James didn't get the definition of "pound for pound" entirely clear. What we think he's saying is that Iverson was the best at his "weight class," so to speak. And at a paltry 165 pounds, Iverson was clearly in a league of his own. He attacked the basket like few players his size would and found an incredible amount of success, given his small basketball frame.

With all of that taken into account, you can kind of agree with Bron Bron now, no?
