We do love the Crown Vic, it's hopelessly outdated at this point, but it's incredibly rugged and it was the last RWD V8 sedan Ford ever sold in the homeland. It's going to be sad to see them slowly get replaced by pseudo-futuristic Japanese vans, but it's happening, and it starts now. Perhaps we can round up all the old Taxis and start a New York Taxi Rallycross Series that would be 100% awesome and 100% crazy.

The Nissan NV200, better known as the "Taxi of Tomorrow" was purpose built to serve as New York's new taxi, and while a government mandate to use them fell through, we're still expecting to see a lot of them in coming years. This is the first of those cars.
