Deion Sanders has been known to be a little bit of a badass in the past. But he has never been this much of a badass before.

According to a man named Kevin Jefferson, who works at Sanders' Prime Prep Academy Charter School in Fort Worth, Texas, he was assaulted by Sanders during a recent faculty meeting. Jefferson claims that Sanders became upset during the meeting because several of the school's athletes are not performing well academically. And as a result of that, Jefferson said that he got into a verbal confrontation with Sanders in front of several other teachers. But things took a turn for the worse when Sanders allegedly approached Jefferson and got physical.

"He walked back to the back of the classroom to where I was sitting in a desk," Jefferson told the Dallas Morning News. "As he got closer to me, I stood up because he was kind of standing over me and he just kind of kept talking to me and at me and then he just grabbed me by my throat and kind of threw me to the ground. Some people had to get him off of me."

Sanders says that is not what happened, though. He doesn't dispute that the men got into an argument over academics during the meeting. But he told WFAA in Dallas that he never laid a hand on Jefferson.

"He was not beat up," he said. "He was not hit. He was none of that. Mr. Jefferson and I got into a confrontation about the welfare of these kids. And we'll get into another one. Until you start taking care of these kids, I'm going to be on a rampage…because the teachers are frustrated. We're frustrated."

Jefferson has not pressed charges against Sanders yet. But he said that he may consider it. We'll be sure to let you know if any other details about the alleged altercation between Jefferson and Sanders come out.
