Sometimes, it's better to be lucky than good. Case in point, over the weekend, Minot State defeated Augustana College in a triple-overtime on a game-winning touchdown grab. But, when we say "grab," you probably assume that the receiver soared over his defender, the defense had a lack of communication which led to the wideout being wide-open, something like that, right?
Well, in the case of Wayne Peters' game-winner for Minot State, the wide receiver was lying on his back when he made the game-winning reception. Yup, not the most climatic of sports finishes, but hey, a win's a win.
