The U.S. Men's Soccer Team Beat Mexico Tonight and Qualified for the 2014 World Cup

Well, that was certainly intense.

Even though the U.S. men's soccer team beat Mexico 2-0 in Columbus, Ohio earlier tonight and put themselves in the perfect position to qualify for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, they still needed to wait for the Honduras/Panamamatch to end to see if they actually qualified. They had to have Honduras either win or draw in order to qualify. And fortunately, Honduras tied with Panama 2-2 to help the U.S. team qualify for the World Cup.
