Getting cut by an NFL team hurts. But getting cut by an NFL team and then having the head coach of that team stop following you on Twitter? That's just rubbing salt in the wound.

That's exactly what Mike Tomlin did to a bunch of ex-Steelers recently, though. After Pittsburgh cut a handful of guys to get their roster down to 53 players last week, Tomlin stopped following them on Twitter almost immediately. And if that doesn't prove just how ruthless the NFL can be, we don't know what does.

Damn, Coach. We know that the guys you cut weren't good enough to run with the Steelers this season. But they weren't good enough to follow on Twitter? And what happens if you end up signing one of the players again later in the season? Do they get another follow?

Either way, a follow from you was all that a lot of those guys had after getting cut—and you just took that away from them, Coach. How do you sleep at night?!
