We just want to let you know you may experience a "WTF" moment this upcoming NBA season when the Miami Heat take on the Brooklyn Nets. That's because, according to The Sun Herald, the league is mulling over the possibility of having "nickname jerseys" during one of the four Heat/Nets games. Even though there hasn't been an official announcement yet, the franchises have supposedly "been aware of the likelihood of it happening for at least several weeks" and the two teams have already been asked what they would want emblazoned on the back of their jerseys.

Whether you think this is just another marketing ploy by the NBA or not, this does sound like a pretty cool idea to us. If these nickname jerseys were made available to the public, would you cop one?
