Um, let's go "Figthing Irish?"
Unless Notre Dame made a team name change, you'd know this isn't the proper way to spell the school's moniker. But sadly the phrase made its way on to the promotional cups, and just like that, an academically prestigious university got itself open to some clowning on.
The Fighting Irish has some lofty expectations for this year, so hopefully this isn't a bad omen for the team's sake. Everybody lets a few typos through every now and then, but something this big has to be picked up at some point. Also, a fig is a fruit.
