Oh, Chael Sonnen. You've officially become that guy, haven't you? The guy who makes appearances on TV shows and does interviews with magazines and just says whatever the eff you want to get attention for yourself. You did it a few months back when you called LeBron James a dork during an appearance on Jim Rome's Showtime program. And you just did it again during an appearance on Fox Sports 1.

While discussing the legacy of Floyd Mayweather Jr. late yesterday, Sonnen talked about how Money May has essentially built a career off fighting "tomato cans that nobody has ever heard of" (not true). But he didn't stop there. Somehow, he also managed to drag Rihanna's name into it by making a tasteless joke to drive his point home.

"I've never seen anybody in America get so rich and so famous off of having complete wimps throw punches at their face," he said. "And I know what you're saying, 'Well, it's happened before, what about Rihanna?'"

Sigh. Did you have to go there, dude? That's low, even by your own standards.
