The Lucra LC470 was one of the boutique cars that most caught our fancy when we heard of it. The Lucra was styled like the beautiful Lister Jaguars of the '60s, built so that it weighed only 2,000 lbs, and rigged up with a massive V8. The LC470, as powered by a Corvette V8, could sprint to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds and manage 1.5 Gs on a skid pad.

Now Lucra has unveiled a new car that will be just as amazing, but with more modern styling. This is the 2.2. Buyers will be able to have the 2.2 with either a Chevy LS3 or LS7, like the LC470, or the AMG 6.2L V8 from the C63 AMG. The former are both great engines, but the latter is my personal favorite engine. The idea of it powering a 2,000 pound car sounds absolutely perfect.
