Mark Sanchez didn't take long to remind fans that all he knows is struggle. Sanchez was facing pressure from the pass rush on his first drive in this preseason game against the Lions, and he blindly threw it where it looked like no receiver in a green uniform was in the vicinity. Lions defensive end Ziggy Ansah was though. He leaped up for the grab, scored with the pick, and cued the Sanchez clowning.
Sanchez finished his game 10-for-13 with one touchdown, so he did OK despite the obvious material for more joke fodder. Rookie Geno Smith finished 6-for-7 and left the game with an ankle injury.
