Getting into an accident on a dirt bike doesn't sound like very much fun. But getting into an accident on a dirt bike and accidentally hitting your sister? Well, that sounds like a straight-up tragedy.
That's what a man from Gloucester Township, N.J. is dealing with right now, though. Early yesterday morning, he was riding dirt bikes with his sister when she lost control of her bike, fell off, and ended up on the ground. And he was riding right behind her at the time and didn't have any time to react to her falling off the bike. So he was unable to swerve out of the way and accidentally rode right over top of her. As a result, she sustained injuries to her stomach and her back and had to be airlifted to a local hospital.
The sister is being treated for her injuries. But the brother must feel terrible right now about the way that things went down. We wish both of them a speedy recovery and hope they're back on their bikes sometime soon.
