We think it's awesome that Kevin Durant is still as active in summer league games now as he was a couple of years ago. Back then, he was still coming into his own in the NBA. But he's one of the two best players in the league right now and is still putting in work in summer leagues. That's a guy who genuinely just loves the game of basketball.
We also think it's awesome that Durant can throw down dunks like these. We understand that this is a summer league game and that defense isn't exactly a priority. But Durant actually had a defender trying to stop here from scoring during a recent Goodman League game in Washington D.C. and he still managed to find enough space to throw down a couple of crazy dunks.
We hope all the other NBA players are taking notes. Durant is getting even better this summer. So watch out next year.
