Google Glass promises many of the functions of one's Android device in a hands free package that's strapped to your face. Carmakers Tesla Motors and Mercedes-Benz have already started developing apps that would integrate some of their cars' features into drivers' faces, and could make opertaing things like navigation and audio systems safer, but at the same time US and UK lawmakers and policy makers see the opportunity to web browse and text while driving to be a serious threat to public safety.
