It looks like that No. 1 Alabama squad is going to be a bit of a hassle again this season. The Crimson Tide let college football nation know this as soon as it touched the ball.
As per usual, the Alabama defense forced its opponent—in today's opener, it's Virgina Tech—to punt the ball. Junior Christion Jones was on the field to receive...and score Alabama's first points of the season with a stunning 74-yard return. If they were trying to keep A.J. McCarron off the field because of his ingrown toenail, this is a a pretty good strategy.
