Just when we got used to the sight of Tracy McGrady on an NBA court after he graced us with his presence during the 2013 NBA Playoffs with the San Antonio Spurs, T-Mac may be headed overseas once again. When he was back in China attending the Yao Foundation Charity Game on July 1, McGrady spoke with China.org.cn

“For those who have played years in NBA and still want to prolong their career like me, CBA is a great alternative,” said McGrady who played a whole CBA season before he joined the Spurs, clutched 25 points, 7.2 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game, and his all-star performance help him sustain his highly respectable status in China.

It looks like McGrady values playing time over competing in the NBA and hey, to each their own, right? After all, he was an All-Star in China and averaged 25 points per game. That's a hell of a lot more than the sparring minutes he was getting playing with the Spurs.
