The Nation's First Air Force One is Rotting in the Arizona Desert

Someone needs to restore this beauty ASAP.

Baking in the unrelenting sun of the Arizona desert is our nation's first official plane that was designated Air Force One. In its glory days, the plane, which was used to transport President Dwight D. Eisenhower, was considered to be a modern marvel -  a national treasure of sorts.

Now, there she sits, rotting away. Efforts to sell the plane in 2005 were unsuccesfull and it was relegated to a plot of leased land at Marana Regional Airport in Tuscon, Arizona. Someone with some deep pockets need to get out there, buy this thing, and bring it back to life.
