Southwest Airlines nearly had a major tragedy on its hands. NBC Nightly News is reporting that a Southwest flight that was coming into New York's LaGuardia Airport was landing when the front gear collapsed upon impact. NBC says there have been no injuries and that passengers are still on the plane. Considering I was literally on a flight on Southwest Airlines this morning into LaGuardia (and it's my most frequented airline), this definitely isn't the most settling news. Maybe those two free checked bags aren't worth it ... We'll keep you updated.

UPDATE: Three minor injuries.
