Aaron Hernandez Will Not Appear in the "Madden NFL 25" or "NCAA Football 14" Video Games

Another loss for the former NFL tight end.

None

Things just keep getting worse for Aaron Hernandez.

In a not-so-surprising move, EA Sports just decided that, even though Hernandez hasn't been found guilty of, well, anything yet, they are still going to remove him from both their Madden NFL 25 and NCAA Football 14 video games. Hernandez does appear on a reward card in the NCAA Football 14 game for the time being. But according to an EA Sports spokesman, his image will be wiped from the game completely in the coming weeks.

"Because NCAA Football 14 was finalized prior to our decision, Hernandez's image still appears in the Nike Skills Trainer," the spokesman said. "However, he is not in the game, and anyone who unlocks that particular Nike Skills Trainer reward will receive an Alex Smith Ultimate Team player item instead. The image of Hernandez will be removed via a Title Update in the near future."

Good riddance. Even though Hernandez is still innocent until proven guilty, it wouldn't have been a good idea to keep him in the game.
