What Vladimir Putin wants, Vladimir Putin gets. Simple as that. After the New England Patriots defeated the Philadelphia Eagles, 24-21, in Super Bowl XXXIX, Pats owner Robert Kraft and a couple of other American businessmen paid the President of Russia a visit. Sporting the team's newest ring on his finger, Putin took a liking to the jewelery and once that happened, that was the last time Kraft ever saw that ring. No, really.

Kraft explained the incident happened while Sandy Weill and other business execs were in St. Petersburg. “I took out the ring and showed it to [Putin], and he put it on and he goes, ‘I can kill someone with this ring,’ ” Kraft told the crowd at Carnegie Hall’s Medal of Excellence gala at the Waldorf-Astoria.“I put my hand out and he put it in his pocket, and three KGB guys got around him and walked out."

Damn, that sucks. Hey Kraft, look on the bright side, you still have two more rings. And plus, you wouldn't want to mess with KGB or Putin himself. Dude still looks like he can still kick ass.
